Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Execute the food quality standards as directed by the Head Chef Prepare vegetables, meats, sauces, etc consistently and according to recipes.
  • Ensure that food/orders come out cooked/plated as instructed and in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain a stocked and organized station for the entirety of service.
  • Answer, report and follow instructions given by management staff Stay busy and work independently at an efficient and consistent pace.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Generate enthusiasm for food among staff, and actively promote the food/restaurant to customers.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
  • Passion for food and cooking, and a passion for serving people Positive, professional attitude, ability to work well and communicate with others, team-oriented.
  • Comfortable and calm in a busy environment.
  • Goal-oriented, self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Self-awareness and a desire for personal growth.
  • Occasional heavy lifting and ability to work on your feet for several hours.
  • Must be punctual and reliable.
  • High School education or equivalent.
