Qualifications:
-  General knowledge of the brewing process
- 1 to 2 years’ Shift Brewer experience
- Extreme attention to detail

-  Report all low levels of inventory to your supervisor as necessary
 
Job Requirements:
- Wort production on our Premier Stainless 15bbl brewhouse
 CIP of brewhouse, fermentation, and bright tanks
- Prepare, mill in grains and weigh out hops for brewing
-  Transfer beer to and from fermentation tanks, bright tanks, kegs
-  Miscellaneous cellar operations including yeast handling and pitching, dry hopping, CIP, and general cleaning and sanitation
- Assist with packaging beer as needed on bottling and canning days
-  Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time
-  Maintain yeast disposal/harvest, and grain area cleanup schedule Knowledge of industrial controls and instrumentationForklift certification a plus(not required)
-  Knowledge of yeast cell counts and pitchingKeg inventory management, Keg cleaning

 Job Responsibilities:
-  Brewing, cleaning and sanitizing, fermentation, and conditioning tanks.
-  Mash-in ,mash-out, wort transfer, gravity checks, pH testing, wort stability sample-taking, knockout and oxygenation
-  Tank to tank beer transfers in an aseptic manner.
-  Monitoring fermentation beer, checking gravities daily as needed. Monitoring cooling off fermenting, conditioning and carbonating beer to established specifications.
-  Clean and sanitizes product lines and equipment and general working area in the cellar including floors, tank exteriors, parts, floor drains, filtration equipment, racks and containers.

 Working Conditions:
-  Ability to work all shifts, including traditional work days, mid or swing shift and the occasional weekend if needed.
-  Capable of standing on your feet for long periods of time, up to 10 hours per day
-  Must have reliable transportation to work
-  Physical capability of regularly lifting up to 55 lbs to shoulder height and manoeuvring 165 lbs, comfortable working at heights, in cramped spaces and awkward positions, and in hot or cold environments for an extended period of time
-  Ability to work in a noisy environment
-  Capable of following all safety procedures while working with potentially hazardous machinery, chemicals with the proper PPE and safeguards in place.
-  Follow and comply with all brewery SOP’s, terms and conditions as stated in the Employee Handbook
-  Be 21 years or older

 Upon being hired there will be an expectation of signing an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement). Compensation will be based on experience and performance.


Qualifications:

 Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
 Experience with POS Systems
 Some knowledge of and passion for craft beer
 Strong communication skills
 Certified beer server/Cicerone preferred
 Lead beer server certification required
 Flexible schedule requirements, weekends and holidays
 Ability to stand, sit, bend or lift for extended periods of time
 Must have a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
 Ability to lift 55 lbs and to move 165lb kegs with assistance

 Greet and welcome customers as they arrive
 Provide an overview of our beers and answer any questions that guests might have
 Anticipate guests needs
 Pour and serve beer
 Complete sales transactions through POS system successfully
 Be responsible for cash handling and reporting
 Sell and stock merchandise and to-go beer
 Provide exceptional customer service
 Adhere to all laws and regulations regarding the service of alcohol
 Maintain an exceptional clean environment
 Follow direction as given by the tasting room manager

 Attend weekly sales meeting
 Work closely with the sales director
 Visit assigned on/off premise accounts
 Establish relationships and maintain high level of interaction and communication
 Conduct tastings and events to increase visibility
 Pursue new opportunities for distribution
 Maintain store shelf standards and inventory
 Ensure compliance with ABC regulations
 Report weekly sales figures
 Represent Wild Barrel Brewing Co. through company events
