Schedule:

Part Time. Hours may vary depending on business need. Must have open availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Essential Functions:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

-Prepares, produces, and bakes pastries, breads, rolls, and some desserts. -Decorates baked goods, such as cream pies, using a pastry bag. -Sets time and speed controls for mixing machines, or blending machines, so that ingredients will be mixed or cooked according to instructions. -Measures or weigh flour or other ingredients to prepare batters, doughs, fillings, or whipped cream, using scales or graduated containers. -Prepare garnishes as needed for baked goods. -Maintains adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures the proper storage and refrigeration. -Keeps spoilage/waste to a minimum by ordering and utilizing proper quantities and rotating products. -Utilizes any and all leftovers into usable products. -Cleans, breaks down, and puts away all baking equipment including: ovens, mixers, proofer, floors, freezer, and refrigerators. -Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential. -Perform other duties as directed.

Physical Demands:

-Well-paced mobility required during the entire shift.

-Ability to reach, bend, stand and stoop for long periods of time.

-Be able to manipulate fingers, hands and arms to cut, measure, pour, serve, carry and wipe.

-Strong reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.

-Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other team members.

Required Education and Experience:

-High school diploma or GED.

-2 years experience cooking in a restaurant or brewpub.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

-Must be 18 or older.

-Must be able to pass the ServSafe Food Handler Training.
