Job Summary
Be the first and last friendly impression to guests of Hana Koa Brewing by maintaining the traffic flow of the Taproom.
- Directly reports to the Taproom Manager.
- This position has opportunities for growth and promotion.
Essential Duties
- Greet guests and seat them at tables and/or direct them to the waiting areas.
- Provide guests with clean menus.
- Receive and record patrons' dining reservations.
- Maintain contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and customers to ensure that dining details are handled properly and customers' concerns are addressed.
- Communicate with servers of new tables before seating to maintain a positive customer experience
- Inform patrons of establishment specialties, promotions, events and features.
- Assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation so that servers receive an appropriate number of seatings.
- Speak with patrons to ensure satisfaction with food and service, to respond to complaints, or to make conversation.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of dining room staff to ensure that patrons receive prompt and courteous service.
- Communicate directly with Food Runner / Busser about what is available to be seated in the taproom
