Essential Duties
- Greet guests in a friendly manner
- Take food and beverage orders, keeping in mind guests dietary or allergy restrictions and effectively communicating that to the kitchen team
- Be the Hana Koa Brewing Expert and guide guests towards their next favorite beer and/or dish
- Be a contributing member to the team whether it be helping a fellow server, host, bartender, or guest.
- Responsibly serve alcohol, knowing what to recommend and encourage healthy consumption
- Keep drinks full and food dishes coming, as well as being prompt with final check delivery
- Stock service stations with items such as ice, napkins, dishes
- Remove trays and stack dishes for return to kitchen after meals are finished
- Efficiently use the POS system to communicate to the Bar and Kitchen, reporting all sales for accurate payment collection
- Total checks, present them to customers, and accept payment for services
- Complete daily sidework
