Essential Functions:

-Welcome each guest personally within 1 minute.

-Communicate with guests using clear and enthusiastic words, tone and body language at all times. Make guests feel appreciated through server's actions.

-Serve multiple tables, as determined by management.

-Have complete knowledge of food and beverage preparation.

-Work as a team with all Wolf Brewing Co. personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service.

-Work with others to keep all areas cleaned and stocked to Wolf Brewing Co. standards at all times.

-Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the brewpub.

-Ability to clear and reset tables.

-Ring food and drink orders into POS immediately, collect money from guests for food and drinks served, and make change.

-Be attentive. Offer assistance before the guest has to ask for it.

-Check identification of guests to ensure guests are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages. Refuse to serve beverages in a polite manner to guests who are not of legal age.

-Monitor and ensure that no guest receives more than the allowed number of specific drinks.

-Serve alcohol responsibly. Do not hesitate to ask for Management intervention if necessary.

-Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.

-Perform other duties as directed.

Physical Demands:

-Well-paced mobility required during the entire shift.

-Ability to reach, bend, stand and stoop for long periods of time.

-Transports and carries objects up to 45 pounds frequently throughout shift.

-Strong reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.

-Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other team members.

Required Education and Experience:

-High school diploma or GED.

-Prior experience working in a restaurant.

-Basic knowledge of beer, wine and spirits, and familiarity with standard drink recipes.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

-Must be 18 or older.

-Must be able to pass the ServSafe Food Handler Training.

-Must be able to pass the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) Responsible Alcohol Management Program (RAMP) Server Training.
