Meander River Farm & Brewery is seeking a Brewery & Retail Associate. Reporting to the General Manager, the Brewery & Retail Associate responsibilities would be, but are not limited to:
Opening, closing, maintenance of retail shop and products within
Preparation of growlers and bottles for sales, markets, events
Detailed, friendly customer service by sharing farm to glass experience with customers through tours, tastings, pouring draught, customer engagement, and point of sale system.
Special on-site and off-site events service support (ie. Weddings, markets)
Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner
Requirements:
19 + years of age (of legal drinking age)
Available to work weekends and some holidays
Customer service experience
Ability to lift in excess of 50lbs
Valid Driver's license, reliable transportation to Ashdale, willingness to commute (if not local)
Assets:
Knowledge, continuing education in beer, cider, spirits and/or wine
Restaurant or Food & Beverage service experience
Ability to perform project based tasks with the end result in mind
