Faubourg Brewing Company is searching for a passionate, creative team player to manage their growing wholesale business and key accounts. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter and leader who thrives on selling challenges and can partner with Faubourg’s wholesalers to develop the brand across all segments and formats. This full time role reports to the General Manager and works hand-in-hand with the VP of Marketing, production and brand teams. The ideal candidate will bring an entrepreneurial spirit and pragmatic approach to their wholesaler support initiatives. Faubourg is currently in a launch phase of brand development with over 75+ wholesalers in 22 states available for potential distribution. This position plays a key role in building equity for the brands in the wholesale marketplace by developing and executing best-in-class wholesaler support and account development.

Senior Sales Leadership:

Set and represent the highest standard of excellence in sales, leadership, and management, for the sales organization Own and represent the Sales Department and communication of conditions, trends, analysis, action plans and needs to other managers and Faubourg team members Develop and implement Annual Business Plan process for Faubourg and all distributor partners. Act as wholesale channel key stakeholder input into all marketing initiatives including product positioning, packaging, promotions and pricing. Distributor Development:

Direct distributor focus and execution as primary communicator and business manager of distributors. Conduct Monthly Business Reviews. Forecast all orders by working closely with Production and Packaging Managers Oversee orders and direct inventory management of all distributor partners. Communicate with distributors on all team efforts and results. Ensure product code-date standards are maintained in all markets Establish agreed-upon marketing investments/budgets (incentives, CPC, trade-spend) with distributor-partners Team Leadership and People Development:

Oversee development plans and professional growth for all direct reports. Budget management of all direct reports. Lead the primary communication of all brewery priorities, standards, goals, objectives, supporting & education materials for sales team Market Development:

Work closely with marketing and brand management teams to recommend strategies for increasing customer and wholesaler share of mind and market share. Act as the “Face of the Faubourg Brewery” within the wholesale channel, with communication and interaction with distributors and retailers Build and maintain strong partnerships with key accounts in territory. Develop, communicate, ensure, and enforce brand and pricing standards. Operate within assigned budget and resource parameters. Build and align budgets and spending plans; reforecast sales on a monthly basis using agreed upon metrics. Assess/provide strategy for market expansion opportunities as appropriate National/Regional Account Development:

Build, maintain and develop strong working relationships with regional and national accounts at all necessary levels. Create and execute all chain account programming and opportunities. Develop and deliver presentations. Communicate using analytics and trend data as appropriate. Nurture distributor KAM relationships and collaboration to ensure execution of chain programming/placements Trade Marketing Coordination:

Build, maintain and develop strong working relationships with regional and national accounts at all necessary levels. Create and execute all account programming and promotional opportunities. Develop and deliver presentations. Communicate using analytics and trend data as appropriate. Qualifications and Experience:

Based in the greater New Orleans metropolitan area 8+ years of excellence in brewery or distributor sales/sales management. Must have excellent working knowledge and demonstration of skills relating to distributor process, national accounts, trade marketing, market analytics, inventory management, market trends, retail execution, forecasting, and budgeting. Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Business or Marketing preferred. Proven ability to manage, lead, and develop a high performing direct sales team. Core competencies: fact-based business acumen, communication proficiency, presentation skills, results driven, strategic thinking, and technical capacity. Excellent verbal communication skills, savvy negotiation techniques, public speaking and presentation skills. Proven experience with analyzing data such as VIP, IRI, Nielson, Encompass, etc. Solutions-driven attitude in communications with coworkers, chain contacts and wholesaler partners. Proven call and follow up skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision. Computer savvy: experienced with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Strong understanding of how national accounts operate and how to build brands through wholesalers. Chain store wholesale experience a plus. Capable of analyzing information and assembling presentations for buyers. Frequent travel is required Some weekend and night work required for events and promotions.
