Fire Maker’s Social Media Specialist will be working alongside and reporting to our Marketing Manager, geeking out over our online content, social media followers, graphic designs, and killer brews. Their position will support and contribute to our print and digital media outreach. They will be responsible for a variety of projects including social media posting, monitoring our social media channels, creative support such as Instagram/FB stories and event and Taproom pictures, graphic designs, and production assistance to the Marketing Manager during photoshoots. Sometimes they may act as a “second shooter” so they should be comfortable with a basic camera, as well as iPhone photography. They will also be featured on our social media from time to time, so they should be comfortable with being on camera. They will help retain and grow our social media presence, ensuring consumers receive consistent positive messaging across all social media channels. The ideal candidate is a graphic designer and social media savvy individual who loves creative projects, engaging with our followers, and craft beer.
 
Social Media Specialist should be able to provide brand management support across social media platforms including but not limited to (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, Untappd), E-marketing platforms (Mail Chimp, Privy), website and E-commerce platforms (Google Business, SquareSpace, Shopify, Printful).

**Position Summary: **

Our part-time, Taproom-Production hybrid position will be predominately working in the guest facing taproom, while assisting in brewery production as needed. Think of this as a great way to talk about the beers we make and love, while being able to assist in packaging and small portions of production. This person is responsible for an unparalleled level of guest satisfaction, beer knowledge and hospitality, in addition to regular duties. We are a family of genuine and knowledgeable people that are driven, motivated, and up to the challenge of being the face of our company while in the taproom.  
 
This person will be responsible for guest satisfaction, taproom cleaning, beer pouring, and anything else that may “hop” up, taproom or production. The willingness to work shifts in the brewery/production side as needed is a requirement for this particular hire. While prior production knowledge is not a requirement, experience behind the bar and with guests is. We need someone who is willing to bring new ideas to the table but can take direction and work together as a team. Job Purpose

As a member of the Sales Team, the role of the Merchandiser is to increase sales and improve representation of Annex throughout Calgary, which includes retailers and grocery stores. The objective of the Merchandiser is to retain key relationships while seeking new opportunities and increasing brand awareness.

The Merchandiser will be responsible for providing support for the Territory Managers by visiting liquor and grocery stores in the Calgary area. Maintaining good relationships with our retailers will be the primary goal, which will be accomplished by the best possible presentation of Annex products on shelves, ensuring proper inventory rotation, and checking for product freshness.

Responsibilities
● Visit Annex retail grocery and liquor accounts inthe greater Calgary area to provide customer service in the form of product stocking and rotation
● Follow FIFO procedures and and rotating out products to ensure freshness
● Maintain consistency and high visible presence in designated retail stores
● Support the execution of store promotions by ensuring all shelves are filled and promotional materials are maximized throughout the account
● Take orders from customers and communicate customer needs to the Sales Team
● Nurture strong business relationships with key customers and consumer groups while identifying new accounts
● Communicate with the sales team on an on-going basis to ensure market expectations are met and opportunities are being identified
● Exercise strong computer and communication skills to track business activities, maintain detailed records on customer/account interactions through strict adherence to the CRM and sales process
● Attend and actively participate in company arranged training, coaching, and planning sessions
● Represent Annex in the community and participate in new store openings, industry events, activities, festivals, trade shows and tastings.
● Educate direct consumers on all Annex Ale Project and Annex Soda Mfg. products through store tastings
● Collaborate with the Annex management team to ensure systems and processes are well designed to ensure customer satisfaction

Required Knowledge and Skills

● Valid Alberta Driver’s License and up-to-date ProServe(Annex to provide Proserve)
● Ability to learn about AGLC regulations as it pertains to marketing, promotion and sale of alcohol.

As a key member of the Marketing Team, the Production Artist will work both independently and with the Marketing Team to support the execution of all brewery-related Marketing activities by producing print and web graphics. The Production Artist will develop the majority of production based graphic files that strictly adhere to Old Yale Brewing’s brand standards. This role requires a high level of organization, well-developed communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
 

 This position will report to The PERA Group’s Brand & Marketing Strategist and will have a strong working relationship with the Marketing Team.
