Casa Humilde was founded in 2019 at District Brew Yards in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood. Our distribution network has grown, and we are looking for a dedicated Distribution Specialist to join our team to help get our beers out to our customers.
 
The Distribution Specialist will be responsible for deliveries, customer service and ongoing communication with the Distribution Manager and Sales Manager. This is an hourly position. Fire Maker’s Social Media Specialist will be working alongside and reporting to our Marketing Manager, geeking out over our online content, social media followers, graphic designs, and killer brews. Their position will support and contribute to our print and digital media outreach. General Manager: Taproom - must have prior experience running a full service restaurant/brewery/bar


**Position Summary: **
 
The Brewer role is responsible for performing a variety of fundamental and supportive tasks befitting a production brewery, including canning, bottling, kegging, wort production, cellar work, and general housekeeping operations, with assistance in maintenance duties and other departments as needed. This position will report directly to the Head Brewer, ensuring implementation of all standard operating procedures to maintain consistency, quality, and efficiency throughout the production process. We are looking for someone to fill this role who has a thorough understanding of all aspects of beer production, including CIP procedures, safety, packaging, yeast wrangling, wort production, and QA/QC.
 
We operate a 20 bbl two vessel Deutsche brew house and also have a 2.5 bbl pilot system. We can our beer on a Wild Goose Evolution Series with a Ska Depalletizer. Our beers see distribution in the Greater Atlanta area, northern Georgia, Western Georgia, and expanding beyond. Meanwhile, our pilot system enables us to create a wide (and wild) variety of beers and to collaborate with our community for Taproom-only releases. 

 **Job Duties and Expectations:**

 •Adheres to and advances all safety protocols set in place by the Owner and Head Brewer
 •Handling packaging operations, including can, keg, and bottle filling; labeling; palletizing; wrapping; and warehousing
 •Cleans and performs preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment as assigned
 •Assists in and performs beer production operations, including cellar and laboratory processes, vessel CIP, wort production, and other beer pro duction tasks

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure customers entering the restaurant are greeted promptly and properly.
- Take and fulfill beverage and food orders from bar patrons, and beverage orders from servers.
- Enter food drink orders accurately and immediately into the Point of Sale system.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with quality standards.
- Complete opening and closing checklists and all side-work duties. Follow all safety and security procedures for closing the bar.
- Ensure all city and state laws are being followed - ID checking, intoxicated patrons, smoking, etc
- Count down the cash drawer at the end of the night, and deposit cash in the safe.
- Account for bartender and server cash drops and paperwork at the end of the night.
- Report any observed personnel or guest issues to FOH Manager, Bar Manager, or owners.
- Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to FOH Manager or owners.
- Up-sell drink specials and food items as directed by management.
- Learn the names of patrons and personally recognize our regulars and neighbors.
- Familiarize yourself with all beverage specials.
- Wash and sanitize glassware, and ensure all glassware is “beer clean.”
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, barware and storage areas.
- Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies and maintain PAR levels.
- Ensure all health and safety standards are being practiced and maintained.

**Position Summary: **

Our part-time, Taproom-Production hybrid position will be predominately working in the guest facing taproom, while assisting in brewery production as needed. Think of this as a great way to talk about the beers we make and love, while being able to assist in packaging and small portions of production. This person is responsible for an unparalleled level of guest satisfaction, beer knowledge and hospitality, in addition to regular duties. - Having fun, swapping stories, imparting craft beer knowledge, and building first name relationships with our guests 
- Adhering to our operational policies and procedures and contributing to continually making our brewery better in all ways

- Have experience working in guest services

- At least 1 year bartending experience

- Any beer-related training (Cicerone, Beer Steward, etc.)

The Brewery Sales Rep will be our face in the market and will sell our brands all over the Greater Atlanta area in on-premise and off-premise accounts. The Brewery Sales Rep works in partnership with the Owner to maintain the company’s vision and culture in the greater Atlanta market. The Brewery Sales Rep will be passionate and knowledgeable about craft beer. They’ll enjoy spending time in the marketing educating and selling consumers on our delicious beers. This is not an entry level job we are looking for an experienced beer sales rep who wants to join and grow with a start-up company. We want someone who enjoys selling beer and winning in the market!
